Viking Run 2007

Today was the "Viking Run at Rapunzel's school. This is the second year that she has participated. And the second year she'll make me go broke. Last year she did 18 laps, this year she did 21. She even got her Papa and me to run with her for a few laps.

The Viking Run is a lot of fun for the kids, it seemed that every single child was smiling even if they were exhausted. At the end they get a popsicle and a medal. And the top boy and girl from each class get to participate in a money grab. (They get to grab a handful of coins out of a jar, the bigger your hands the more you can get.) Each child is given a sponsor sheet to take home to earn donations. You can pledge per lap, or just a standard donation. Chaos Kid and I pledged $1.00 each per lap last year, and Rapunzel expects no less this year. But it's worth it. The money raised pays for fieldtrips, school activities, and some classroom expenses.

If anyone would like to make a pledge for Rapunzel email me or leave a comment. Rapunzel has until April 5th to collect pledges, she has to turn them in on the 6th.

The title of the story is The MONSTER at the end of this book.The mane [and only] charcter is grover.Written by Jon Stone.Illastrated by Mike Smollin.I like this story becuse it is a golden book and I like grover. Grover is afrad of MONSTER'S. and it turns out it is him.

Raggedy Andy: The I Can Do IT, You Can Do IT Book

The title of the story is Raggedy Andy The I can do it, you can Do It Book . The auther of the story is Nonah Smaridge The illustrator is June Goldsborough. The story takes place at school. The main characters of the story are Raggedy Andy and Raggedy Ann. They are telling about things they learned to do like, putting their toys away,feeding the dog, and sharing with their friends. At the end they were all grown up. I like Raggedy Andy and Raggedy Ann books, because they're the best books I ever read. You should read it too.

Alice In Wonderland

The title of the story is Alice in Wonderland Meets the White Rabbit. The author is Jane Werner. The illustrations are by the Walt Disney Studios.

The setting of the story is Wonderland. The main character of the story is Alice.

The conflict of the story is Alice falls asleep but she doesn't know it. She follows a white rabbit and gets lost in Wonderland.

Some events in the story were that Alice followed a white rabbit, she met a chesire cat, she took a shortcut to get home, and she met a queen.

The solution of the story is that she wanders out of Wonderland to get home.

Truly My Daughter

"I am not a girl, I'm a Tom Boy", has become a very frequent phrase around here.

She really is just like me. She likes to climb trees and play in the mud and pick on her sister, though in my case it was my brother. But she also likes to wear make-up, play house and do some other girlie thngs.

She is truly my daughter an no one elses.

She's almost 8 1/2 and will correct you if you say she's 8. She's loud, boisterous, outspoken, and full of mischief. She can also be shy, quiet, content, and cuddly, when she wants to be. She is also a bookworm, also when she wants to be. But these are only a few of the reasons wht I love her.

Rapunzel, you are truly a precios little girl. And even though you get into trouble, a lot it seems sometimes, I love you with all my heart and wish I could keep you little for longer. Though I do want to see you grow up and "be someone". Whom ever that might be, you'll always be my little girl.

The Carnival 8th Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. Saturday was my birthday party. I won two fish. My bestist bestist bestist friend surprised me and came. It was a carnival party. My sister made her own card. She scribbled on it. We teepeed the whole yard with streamers. Me and my two friends who are in fifth grade, I think.

We had snow cones. I had a rainbow snow cone and a pink cotton candy. And cupcake ice cream and water balloons. It was the greatest party ever. Two of my classmates came. I got like 100 presents!

My Cd

My Auntie burned a hot cd and the first song was Numa Numa. And it was the best cd I have ever had. It was the best cd because it was alwaya Numa Numa first. It's my favorite song. You can click on it here. I like it because it makes me think like dancing and you can also see the picture of the song.

The Beach

Rapunzel, Grandma, Auntie Josephine and Princess Fiona are going to the beach tomorrow. They are bringing a pineapple jar with curves on the side, a regular pot, a sandcastle form, a pink rake and a red and yellow broom with a broken handle. They are going to use the broom to sweep off the sand from their towels. And they are going to bring a turtle sand mold and a screwdriver to make holes. They are bringing a jello dome and a big old purple bucket. They are also bringing a strainer to strain all the sand. They are also bringing three shovels. Two are yellow and one is green. They are also bringing a yellow star and two plastic trees and a light blue bowl and a pooper scooper.

They are also bringing three bottles of sun screen. SPF 50, 50 and 30. They are going to pack a lunch with cherries and angle cake. Then Rapunzel and Auntie Josephine and Princess Fiona are going to go in the water, but not Grandma. Grandma is the watch out of Auntie Josephine, Rapunzel and Princess Fiona.

We are going to build the sand castle with wet sand. We are going to hope that it will stay and not break. It will fall over from the water because we are going to build it close to the water.

And this is a true story.

Princess Fiona the Trouble Maker

Once upon a time at Princess Fiona and Rapunzel's Grandma's house, they were playing in the yard. Princess Fiona got way too muddy on her face, her legs, her back, and her teeth. So Grandma had to give her a cold bath.

The other trouble was Princess Fiona pulled Grandma's cat's tail. The cat screamed and then bit Princess Fiona. Princess Fiona screamed as loud as she could.

On Wednesday Princess Fiona got very grumpy because Auntie Josephine gave her coffee ice cream. Princess Rapunzel had a chocolate mint frappuccino cream with tons of whipped cream on it. But Rapunzel didn't get grumpy because she knew better. But she did get bored because Auntie Josephine wanted to go to the Royal fabric store. Princess Fiona and Princess Rapunzel got bored. What they did when they were bored was lay down in the royal cart. Princess Rapunzel was asking Auntie Joesphine a kazillion questions.

Princess Rapunzel learned how to swim. Royal Stevie taught her.

Zoo Day

Today Rapunzel's world was very, very fun.

She rode on the royal bus to the zoo. She had two very annoying students with her, Prince Christopher and Prince Tyler. They wouldn't let Rapunzel take a nap on the bus. She told them that if they woke her up or disturbed her she would get angry. When they finally got to the zoo she was fast asleep.

Rapunzel saw her parents and her little sister Princess Fiona at the zoo. They saw a zebra, a baboon that had a baby, and an elephant with a big butt. And on that day the reptiles were closed and Rapunzel was sad.

Princess Fiona was scared when she saw the wolves. So she screamed loudly.

They stayed until the zoo closed. And then rode in the royal car and went home. And they stopped by the royal Taco Bell and picked up some food and went home and ate it all.

Then Princess Fiona burped.
